Editing Suite - Day 1

We are now editing our opening scene on the Apple Imacs in the editing suite at college. We are using IMovie because we are familiar with the particular software, so it will limit the time we will waste getting use to the other software we could of used; final cut pro. 

So far this is what we've done: 

1. Selected all the takes we wanted in our final piece 
2. Moved all the takes in the correct order, on how we wanted it to look in our final piece
3. We decided to make sharp and edgy cuts through out the movie, we still aren't too sure if we like this effect 100% so what we are going to do is leave it until the last minute and come back to it when we decide
4. added footsteps sound effects on the points where I'm walking 
5. added 'suspense' sound effect on the starting and ending of the film 
6. added 'heartbeat' sound effects on the start of the film
